Our HRU100 finally gave up the ghost last winter after 5 years service, started to see the usual mould spots in a couple of rooms in our 1960’s bungalow.
Decided this time round to go for the CFLO250 as a replacement and hope it will last a bit longer. Obviously it’s more powerful than the 100 as it has 2 fans and of course there’s the option to vent more rooms if we feel the need in the future.

Hard to handle

I personally found it quite hard to use. Working in a really tight attic space if you pressed on it the shape would crease up and be quite difficult to get back.

Sty100 fan

An excellent fan. Once fitted I increased the sensitivity in a dry bathroom until the fan ran then backed it off a fraction so it stopped running and it works well. Clearing condensation well. It's quiet and looks good too
