I have tried 3x XFA150 fans and all have been defective.
1. The auto shutter system friction is excessive and prevents the flaps from fully opening.
2. Due to the excessive friction the counterforce on the thermal actuator can cause the actual to dismount from it’s holding bracket.
Would I buy another - never.
Heater works perfect, shouldn't say this but waiting for winter to give it a good try, delivered in 48 hours of order.
Seemed a quality fan however the timer function on all the fans I bought either lasted a few seconds or never went off. Leading to an unnecessary call out back to the job. Disappointed
I bought this for my grandson to use as a sandpit. Inserted into a table frame it is the perfect size (particularly the depth). Very robust so I'm sure it will withstand many years of play and further use beyond that as a tray for potting up etc.
Seems stronger than other vent fittings I've used previously. Does what it says in the tin
